Daniel Sousa has the honor of being the least misogynistic agent in his department of the Strategic Scientific Reserve, the predecessor of S.H.I.E.L.D. He has recently returned from fighting in World War II with one fewer leg than he went in with, but it doesn't seem to be having a deleterious effect on his detective skills thus far.
